I was at my local Costco yesterday and found the greatest thing to haul our stuff to workshops or even just to store things around the house. It's made by MemoryStor and is called "Universal Cart with Sectional Organizer" It is basically like a hard sided collapsible Milk crate with a telescoping handle and wheels. It has a canvas type cover that fits over it and goes down on the inside of the crate. It has 46 compartments inside and out and also a cover that goes over the top. All this for only $21.99!!!! I was using a soft sided scrapbooking roller, but after I pack all my stuff in, it was very hard to lift up onto the rollers without it trying to collapse on me. On the inside is a 12 indexed file compartment per fect for order forms, inspirations sheets, cardstock etc.
The price over the web is much higher, but the cheaper price could be in-store. Clicking on the second picture in the site, I've gotta say this is definitely an early Holiday present for me!
wow, thanks for showing the photo...looks like a great find and the in store price is definitely a great deal! I loved Costco when we lived near one...now I am happy to have a Sam's Club nearby but haven't seen anything like this at Sam's. ;-( Jan
Wow. That is really neat. It looks like it will hold a lot of stuff. I'd love to think that I would only have to lug one carrier when I have my month club meetings. Thanks for the tip.
I know - I have been drooling over it for a couple of months, still in debate if I really must have it, since I don't do any local workshops as of yet, and will probably prefer to have them at my house when it gets done next month. But as a great storage thing I just may - and will probably be able to "hide" a little bit from my hubby
Ha ha.. Cla616.. you made me laugh saying you will probably be able to hide a little bit from your hubby. We can all relate to that! I had something like this (without the nice canvas cover) that I bought in Office Max. My problem was I filled it too full - I used it for my catalogs and it broke the bottom. Hopefully, this one is sturdier.
I just got one on Monday after my UL got one last week! They are awesome! I can fit everything in there that I need and there's still plenty of room on the outside for things I think I might need!
The one I bought was also red. I was so excited when I saw them, I didn't look to see if they had a different color. On the box it said "color may vary".
This looks a lot like the Fiskars rolling tote I bought several years ago; except I don't think mine collapses for storage. I just store it under a table and it usually has stuff in it all the time. The Fiskars tote was under $30 when I bought it - I think I used a coupon code online at Joann's to get it half off or something.

I think Office Depot or Office Max had something like this, only not soft, but collapsed down into a briefcase size when not in use. Seems like it was a little over $20, too.

Can you find it on their website?
Gah.. I would love something like this! I wish I could shop at Costco... we have a SAM's membership but not Costco.

I had the same problem with one breaking. I'm not sure exactly what mine is... my SIL gave it to me, it might even be a rolling cooler type thingy, but it looks like the pic. But the front bottom of it broke, and it won't stand up anymore. I still keep my catties in it tho...one of my SU boxes was the perfect size to fit in it, so that gives it some structure. Plus I have a little more room to reach in and grab my catties.

I have 2 of the rolling crates. 1 I got a few years ago at a PTA convention and it cost me about $35 and it has a hard lid. And I also have one without the lid that I got at Office Max for $18. I also have the XXL, which I love, but when full it is so heavy to get in and out of the car. I love the crates, I think I will go to Costco tomorrow to see if they have them. I love the pockets.
My husband went to Cosco for me and picked it up...I was going to place
the order online but they had it locally for $21.99! Thanks for sharing this
now I can be more organized and can cover it up....Has tons of compartments
I went out to Costco on Weds after reading this and looking at in on their website. Online it says it is red/gray, but mine is red and beige. I wouldn't have picked those colors, but I still think its great.
I've had the one from Office Max/Depot for a few years. About a year ago, one of the front corners busted, but I've been using it anyway. This one from Costco seems to be exactly the same size, but no sturdier. I'll just be more careful with it than I was with my other one. I really like that it has the canvas cover with all the pockets. And I figure if it does bust in a few years, its still worth it. These crates are lifesavers for me for taking catalogs and supplies to workshops. And I can always buy a new crate and use this canvas cover with it.
I just saw these at my Costco two days ago. I really think it's a great product and hinted to my boyfriend that it would make a great birthday present. If I don't get it by Tuesday, my birthday, I'm going to have to get one for myself :-).

I'm still developing it, but thought I'd share now. Let me know what you think. Any changes? Suggestions?
I picked one up right after the original post and used it yesterday for a workshop...I could put my paper and stamp sets for 5 projects plus a bunch of forms, minis and other stamping necessities. Based on what someone else said--I didn't put my box of catalogs in the cart 'cause I didn't want break it the first time I used it. It worked really well...definitely worth the $21.99.
I got one at my Costco today too. Red and Beige. I was hoping for pink but I think that even though they say colors may vary, red is the dominant color that everyone seems to get. I am going to Scotch Guard mine before I fill it. I think it will help not keeping rain off but keeping it cleaner. I think this will be easier to take and since I will be watchful on how much to put in it (not wanting it to break) it will be easier on my back! A great buy at $21.99
