Thanks-thanks-thanks! I NEVER would have even thought to look at the pharmacist. OK - I will try my CVS down the street.
Dina - I'm using it to juicy up my blender pens again. They have gone dry, so I'm going to use the recipe I got off the internet and soak the tips for a day or two and see what happens.
Thanks for all your help, I KNEW I could count on all you great ladies to get me the answer!

I have used that recipe for my blender pens and it really does work. There is also a recipe on SCS somewhere for stamp cleaner using glycerin. I love this, too! Good luck!
I got a recipe for stamp cleaner from here a while ago.
2 Tablespoon glycerin
8 oz. distilled water
1 Teaspoon baby wash
I love it! I don't like the smell of the Stampin Mist so I tried this and it works great for me!

Oooh, where in walmart pharmacy? I have to go there to get milk anyway, so I would rather kill two birds with one stone. They also carry distilled water.
I had to ask someone who works in the pharmacy area, but at my wal mart, it was on the bottom row near hydrogen peroxide. I am sure someone will help you find it. Good Luck. I do love one stop shopping!
URGENT!!! Somewhere I saw it mentioned that gylcerin was the "magic" ingredient to make pigment ink out of dye ink. I desperately need to turn an IN COLOR (using re-inker) into pigment ASAP - they only came in Classic, and I need to do a technique (shrink pastic) that can only be done with pigment ink. What's the "MAGIC" recipe and technique for turning dye to pigment using glycerin. PLEASE HURRY!!!
sewmuch2dO.. I don't use a blender pen. Cutiepatutie mentioned abv that she's gonna soak the tips. I've read on SCS where others do not remove the tips, just simply sit the pens, point down, into the recipe a day or 2 to soak up the new fluid. Here's the recipe for the blender pen posted on SCS by kphorse:
2 tsp. glycerin
4 tsp. distilled water
1/4 tsp. rubbing alcohol
It says you don't need to pull the blender tip out, just use an eyedropper. This'll go a long way so don't double it!
I do use the abv recipe all the time for stamp cleaner.. it's GREAT!!
Have a blessed week, Stormy
