I just started and hate to ask an obvious thing that has probably been covered somewhere already, but I will!! What is a good adhesive technique for glueing down ribbon on the TOP of the card.
Also, what does CASE mean? Thank you so much!
What does CASE mean exactly?? Copy and something...something! Basically it means you copied it from someone/book/inspiration sheet and usually have tweaked it to make it your own.
As for the ribbon, I like a thin monoadhesive to hold the ribbon on. Also, glue dots has a new ribbon adhesive (lines) that work great! (I think it is a new product...new for me, anyway!)
In my circles CASE was always Copy And Steal Everything as in you do a perfect copy and don't change a thing. I think over the years it's changed, though!
As for glueing down organdy ribbon, I usually add adhesive on the back of my project and run the ribbon right around - no adhesive on the front, if that makes sense! Otherwise I use a Xyron sticker maker, although I haven't tried that with organdy, just regularly grosgrain, satins, etc.
Red sticky tape (brand - duck) from Walmart.. it works the best for ribbon and is a great size for all ribbon, covers them all. Walmart will have this tape back in soon. They have been out of it for a while, sorry but forgot the full name of the sticky stuff.
