Default Glue Guider Pro versus ATG

Has anyone used the Glue Glider Pro adhesive? I have an ATG gun, but I like the idea of having a cartridge to just slip in which the Glue Glider says it has.I am interested to hear from anyone who has used this product.
Blessings

I find ATG stickier and I like that there is much less waste with the ATG. You only throw away your little plastic core instead of a big honking plastic cartridge.

When i realized how much I was spending on refills for the Glue Glider, I bought the ATG, much more economical.

ATG you better know where you want to place your paper....... its stuck for good, Glue Glider gives you lots of wiggle time.

http://framingsupplies.com/......... i have placed several orders........ they all have been shipped that same day. I didnt order over the net, I called the 1-800 number, great service

I have the glue glider pro and the refills are not cheap. I love that it is small and fits in my bag but for the amount of cards I make I am thinking of going with the ATG gun and tape refills from the tape depot.

I LOVE my glue glider pro! I have arthritis and the ATG is just too painful to use.

I find my Glue Glider Pro very comfortable to use and a nice size. I take apart the empty cartridges and recycle the larger plastic parts and the paper strip.

I'd like to at least try an ATG since they certainly are more economical but I haven't had the opportunity.

I have the Glue Glider Pro and really like it. I got mine when my LSS first started carrying them and they had a sale so I got it and a cartridge for free. I do shop at my LSS quite frequently and get 20% so it's not *that* expensive when I need a refill :-)

I have both and enjoy them both. When I go to SU Stamp Camps I like the compactness of the Gluie Glider Pro vs ATG.

I like the Glue Glider Pro and primarily use their perma tac tape and it sticks really well. My cards certainly dont fall apart when I use it. I find the refills are a bit expensive and I tend to use it only when I'm in a rush rather than using other double sided tape which which takes more time to remove the backing off it etc. I have small hands and find the Glue glide pro very comfortable to use.

I am glad to have found this as I own the ATG and like it but sometimes find it wasteful .. it gets wrapped around itself at times and I have to maneuver it back to normal. But its not THAT big of a deal. However the glue glider pro is really cute.. I too can't justify the cost of the refills. I just did the math on tombow.. they claim to be 472" and that divided by 12 is 39.33 feet.. a bitty less than glue glider 40 ft. refill. Hmmm pricey for sure. I know how quick I go thru tombows. YIKES.

I'm new to the ATG and like it so far. Here's a gun that looks a bit smaller (and is cheaper) than the yellow or red ones, has anyone used it?

It is my understanding that the ATG tape refills are in yards, not feet, making the cost comparison more dramatic.

I bought a package deal from The Tape Depot, but through their ebay site. It was $48 (and some change) with free shipping for the ATG and 12 rolls of tape. Mine is read though, but still a 'generic'. I absolutely love it. When I first bought it, I made 6 yard sale signs with date, time, address (cut from cricut) on the large plastic type poster boards. That was a whole lot of taping down. I didn't even use one whole roll (but close to it).

I did the math before I bought it and I believe one roll of the tape is equal to 3 of the tombows. Even if you're buying bulk tombows for around 1.75 each, you can't beat the price of the atg tape refills.

The Tape Depot shipped very fast from their Ebay store, and I was very happy with the transaction.
