Default Glossy Mod Podge

I am wondering if anyone knows if Glossy Mod Podge remains tacky over time, or is there a period in which it cures? I covered some paper mache alphabet letters from the craft store with DSP, and the scrap piece I covered with Mod Podge looks nice and seems sturdier, but if it doesn’t cure I will refrain from adding it to the finished letters. I don’t want them to stick to anything or vice-versa! Thanks for any advice!

I've steered clear of Mod Podge for exactly that reason - it seems to remain tacky to some extent, even over quite a long period of time. I prefer this: Royal Coat Satin Decoupage Finish

It's satin, rather than gloss, but it has a nice sheen and it does cure with no tackiness.

Thank you! I was afraid of that. I’ll see if I can find a mini bottle of the Royal Coat! 😀

I don't use Mod Podge for that exact reason. Because I can't rely on it drying thoroughly (even after years!), I won't risk having paper, etc. sticking to it. I made an art journal spread and when I later opened the book two facing pages had stuck together. Fortunately I checked them quickly enough that I was able to separate them without damaging the pages. I now only seal my pages with Dorland's Wax. A tub of it lasts forever and it will not stick pages together. You can also rub an uncolored candle over your elements if you don't have a product like Dorland's Wax.

What kind of spray are you asking about? I've used Krylon Fixatif with no problems.
