THIS IS NOT FUNNY! I've been checking costco.com every day lately to see if the Big Shot went on a shipping special again. Went there tonight, and there's no Big Shot listed!!!!! I know they can change their product line at any time, but this is so cruel! Unless maybe they are just out of stock at the moment and will re-list it once they get it in again. Anyone think that may be the case?
Oh, my gosh!!! I must have gotten one of the last ones. Mine is due to arrive tomorrow and you're right they show them not being available. Maybe they're just temporarily out of stock and they will get more in.
Thank you for the item number and the sympathies. :( :( I may just have to contact them and see if they know if they will be replacing it with something else (the big kick?) or what.
The same thing happened to me, in either early November or late October. I had been watching it and drooling over it, when all of a sudden, one day, it just wasn't there! I also panicked and started surfing other sites for it, but then one day, I checked back in, and they had it again. So maybe they are just out, and will get them back soon.
Whew!!! Glad to hear it!!! And iirc they put the BS on a shipping special in November; maybe there will be another special after they relist. *crosses fingers*
I too have been watching costco.com, I hadn't ordered because I guess I really don't NEED it, kinda want it, but do have a Sizzix and don't really need it...so maybe this is a good thing...for me anyhow!
I know I feel your pain. I was so bummed. I tried to buy it yesterday and it wasn't there. It was there 2 days ago. Stinks!!! I ended up getting ansy and bought it on ebay. BIG MISTAKE!!! Joanns has it on sale for 83$ with no shipping. Not too bad. Since I figured you would probably pay 10$ shipping at least on costco.com.
I got the CB for christmas but am debating about returning it and getting the Big Shot. I was so ready to do this yesterday but Costco did not have them.

It was something like $54 from Costco, and included a starter kit, an embossing thingy, some cardstock, and a couple of dies. Shipping to Texas was $10ish, not sure what it was like to other locales. Altogether for someone living where I am in Texas it came to ~$71 with taxes, the non-member surcharge, and shipping. With the shipping special it of course was closer to $60 for the whole kit.
At Jo-Anns online they had the same Big Shot kit for ~$84 as a special (usually $120). Not sure how long that special lasts tho.
Were you able to get that coupon code to work? I ended up purchasing some stuff last night that was on sale and could use the shipping code. Here is another one they sent me this morning. THANKSEC1257

I just ordered the BS from Joanns since it was on sale and with THANKSEC1257 I got free shipping!! I am so excited I think this is the one for me...no strained wrists, stable footing, and comes with some stuff to play with right away!! So excited!!

Non-members pay a 5% surcharge on costco.com orders. On the Big Shot that works out to two bucks and change; a lot less than $50. Especially considering there isn't even a Costco within two hours' drive of here.
Yeah! I'm so glad it worked. Of course I got back on joann's this morning and orderered more stuff!! I have Christmas money just burning a hole in my pocket - can you tell??
BTW that is awesome about Costco, they had the tote ally with the extra tote back that I wanted. But I got impatient and got it off of Joanns instead. :confused:
