Well I am looking to do snowman soup with them. You get the cartons as well, that go with the bottles (I know where I can buy those just white so I can alter them) and then get four bottles - fill one with hot chocolate powder, another with peppermint sticks, another with chocolate sprinkles and the 4th with marshmallows, attach a tag, put a new label around the bottle, alter the case, and you have an adorable gift! I want to make a lot of them, and since I don't drink coffee I'm trying to find a place where I can get the same style...but specialty bottle does have other options that will work if I cant.
I did the Snowman Soup (and will do them again) for a craft fair I do every Christmas, I have pictures in my gallery......I sold all 9 of them last year that I made!

I went to your blog but didn't see a gallery...I'd love to see a picture!

Sherry, click HERE to see Jamie's adorable Snowman Soup! I love them. So cute. Jamie, did you just use the starbucks bottles or did you buy them empty from somewhere? Thanks for the inspiration!

I'd love to know if you find them....I'd also like to know where you can get the cartons! These would make great gifts!
Save your money! Try your local Freecycle - www.freecycle.org. I got literally HUNDREDS of these last Christmas. I had so many that I used them with my large Daisy troop and lots of gifts and I have some stored in the attic for next year. all I had to do was pick them up around my neighborhood and wash them. Seriously, try that before you spend your money!
Does anyone have a site where they have the frapuccino-style bottles for sale?

I didn't even think about that, I will have to check that out! Thanks!
I got about 50 of them free from an ad on Craigslist, and she even washed them and had the labels off. She said she drinks about 4 a day and offers them to different people on Craigslist.

I did this too, and I got way more than i could use and ended up giving alot to a fellow crafter!!
try asking at your local Starbucks, or anywhere that sells lots of those like WalMart or the Supermarket, if you can post a sign on the community boards asking people to email you and you'll gladly come retrieve their empty frap bottles.

Where did you get the cartons from? I love this idea. I could think of several ways to use this gift idea!
Thanks,
Pam
I just wanted to let everyone know that Katie (therenz5 here on SCS) has a tutorial on the Clearly iStamp Blog for a Picnic caddy. I used her tutorial, changed it just a tad, and it made a perfect frap bottle carrier! I didn't do the boxes for the dividers like she did because then there wasn't room for both bottles, so I just did one piece of cardstock. I cut it 3"x3.5". On the sides I scored a half inch in from each side, then put score tape on those to make flaps to connect it to the middle divider. then my middle divider I made taller. It was 5" wide by 12" high, scored at 2.5 (two pieces put together, like Katie did). Other than that, it's pretty much the same as the one Katie is using. I'm still decorating mine but once it is finished I will do an upload (if I get brave. LOL).
Anyway - it's a free tutorial, it worked GREAT and I love how it has the higher handle versus the frap boxes with the smaller handle. Try it out! It was fun AND super easy. I had taken apart a frap carrier to make a template of it but it was way to complicated to make dozens of them. This one was not complicated at all, and I actually like it a lot better than the frap carriers from Starbucks.
