Though I’ve collected far too many inks and reinkers over the years, I’m not always able to find the color combos I want. I bought many ink cubes to try as they’re cheaper, but more clunky to use for ink blending. SO, before I buy anything else, wondering what are your favorite inks (other than Oxides) for ink blending? TIA
I recently discovered Catherine Pooler inks and have to say, they're great! The blend well and smooth out so nicely. They really do look like how she demo's them in her videos. I purchased them from scrapbook.com, but you can find them on several sites, including her own.
Another favorite is Gina K. All hers have a smoothing agent in them that when they dry, it's pretty seamless looking. Good luck!

I also like Catherine Pooler but still use my original Distress inks for blending if I have the colors I want to use. My SU inks blend well as do my Memento inks. I think most dye inks are fine for blending.

I like the original Distress Inks too. They seem easier to use a lighter hand with as you start your blending process. All but one of my Distress pads are the minis. Their Tumbled Glass is my go to for any blue and I bought the large one because I use it the most.
Thanks, all! I do have a lot of Distress Inks and sometimes forget about them for blending as I've used them more for other techniques. Good reminder to use what you have even though the collecting is another hobby in itself. ;-)
