What bins or boxes is everyone using to store their dies in the plastic sleeves. I know some were getting them on Amazon or Ebay. Also what are the sleeves (envelopes) that are available on Amazon. I had it written down but misplaced the information. I know there is a thread on the site somewhere.
I did find the sleeves on Amazon. They are the DVD sleeves with flaps. I still need to know what is being used to put them in. I think I remember they are some kind of refrigerator bin.
I bought the Avery Elle Extra Large sleeves, which are just under A5 size, and trimmed my magnetic sheets down to fir. I store them on their side in an A4 size Really Useful Box, with a few Bigz dies in front to keep them upright. I made my own dividers from thick card.
Thank you for the ideas! i just purchased some dies with itty bitty parts and I know I will lose them if I don't get them either in an envelope or on a magnetic sheet.

I just discovered these at Ikea: SLKTING Box - IKEA They are the PERFECT size for 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" page protectors (which is how I store dies and stamps) and for embossing folders. 3 for $10? Yes, please! Not crazy about the colors, but they're all on shelves in the closet, so who cares?
I'm doing my die storage much like Jennifer McGuire... using DVD sleeves and then putting them into Really Useful Boxes. I bought the sleeves (twice- how did I end up with so many dies?) off of Ebay. I've been pleased with the quality of the sleeves and they have held up well. With the single dies, I add just a piece of cardstock. With multiple dies (like Spellbinders), I add a magnetic sheet. For the taller dies, I use a taller magnetic sheet and just let them stick out of the DVD sleeve and put at the back of the box.
The same company I bought the sleeves from is also on Amazon, but on Ebay they offer free shipping. The shipping was fast... had the sleeves in less than a week after ordering.
I'm using Jennifer McGuire's methods, too, but I found the fridge bin is a little big for my bookshelves so I have to keep it out on top of my wood stamp storage cabinet. That means my stamps are more exposed to light than I would like them to be. I'd like to find smaller (shorter) bins to hold the Avery Elle pockets that will fit on my IKEA Billy bookcase.

Sue, I too am using the Ikea Billy Bookcase which is why I went with the 3 liter Really Useful Boxes. There is 2" of space behind the boxes so for now, just keeping the thicker dies behind the Really Useful Boxes. If you find something that fits better, please let us know. I'm using the Avery Elle pockets for my stamps. which fit nicely into that size Really Useful Box. I use the same size box for my dies, stamps and embossing folders.
Mary, those look nice. I found a fridge box on Amazon from InterDesign that I like, but it's $14.99 for one box. Yikes!
Right now, I keep my dies and my stamps all together in the same bin, by manufacturer. I don't see the need to separate by type like Jennifer McGuire does, but I also own a whole lot less than she does.

I use these organizers from Container Store with the dies in original packaging with magnet sheets I cut from a roll from Michaels. Right now, one case is full of embossing folders and old stuff like letterpress plates, one case is basic shapes dies, one case is framelits for specific sets and just started on a 4th to store just Christmas stuff.
