Default yes you can

You can use the cuttlekids in the cuttlebug but not cuttlebug in the cuttlekids.

Say that three times fast.

I have the two cuttlekids alphabets and the cat. They work great in my cuttlebug. Can't cut more than 1 thickness of SU CS though. Still the difference in price from my Olivia alphabet at 80.00 (got for Christmas from kids) and the cuttlekids at 15.00 I'll cut them one at a time.

You and me both! I was lucky to get a couple of Cuttlekids alphabets at Michaels with 50% coupons. Can't beat $7.50 for an alphabet die set. They are just the right size to use on cards. I like them very much.

I am having trouble getting my cuddlekids alphabet to cut all the way through the cardstock in my cuddlebug. Any suggestions? Am I layering my stuff wrong?

When I use the Cuttlekids alpha in my Cuttlebug, I just layer it like I do the regular Cuttlebug dies, and it cuts through.

Maybe your cardstock is thicker than what I use. If that's the case, thinner cardstock should work better. I think all Cuttlebugs are a little different in the amount of pressure you get when running something through the rollers.

You can try adding paper (one sheet at a time) to make a slightly thicker layer. The extra pressure may help the die cut all the way through your cardstock.

I use the c plate instead of the b plate on the bottom of the stack when using the kids dies. Keri

I would not have thought to put the "C" plate on the bottom. That's an awwesome idea! And I was using SU cardstock. Thanks for the suggestions. Sarah
