Also, the part where is says we may not sell over the internet.
Also, I didn't mean to come across as slamming CTMH. I have stamps from when they were still DOTS. I love my DOTS/CTMH images, and I love clear stamps! I was just hoping that someday they might change their angel policy.
I read the policy and it says "Completed hand-stamped artwork may be sold at craft fairs, fundraisers, retail locations, and over the Internet. In the sale of hand-stamped artwork, Close To My Heart trademarks and logos may not be used prominently or in any manner which might lead consumers to believe the hand-stamped artwork is a Close To My Heart product.
So you can sell it over the internet but just not use the CTMH trademarks and logos in a prominent place.

if you order soon I think so; they have not discontinued them until which ever book comes out with the new ones; My CTMH Demo just got back from convention and she seemed to think they still had them.
FYI has anyone checked out the video tutorials on the CTMH sites?
I made the tag book with the file folios for my sisters birthday it was soo easy and soo cute! Now I know what to do with my whoops a daisy paper.
I am not a consultant for CTMH, but I have seen the new book. Has anyone seen the new storage tower in person yet? I'm wondering if SU stamp pads and CTMH fit in it since I have a mix of both and would love something portable to have. I am the hostess coming up in my club and would love to get it during my month but am not sure what people think of it.
I was considering becoming a consultant and when I got my new catalog from my consultant on Saturday, the 23rd, I knew I had too. I just put in via email my application to be a consultant late last night, but I haven't heard anything yet. Just about everything on my wish list was in that Kit plus the add on kits for scrapbooking and cardmaking. I figured I couldn't go wrong even if I only did it long enough to get my CTMH supplies built up. I buy enough myself to keep myself in business for a few months anyway1
Anyone know how long it will take to process and let me know if I am approved?

IT should process in about 2 business days at most. Then your kit will ship via UPS, and that could take up to 2 weeks. Hopefully sooner!
PS, many people become "hobby consultants" its a great company to do that for. If you don't make your $300 per quarter, you bump down to JR consultant status and receive a 10% discount. At any time you hit the $300 per quarter, you bump back up to regular consultant.
So... has anyone received some new catalog orders yet? Something you don't like that you thought you would? Something you like EVEN better in person?
I absolutely love that all the paper is now double sided not with just a solid color but with an actual pattern. There's usually at least one paper I don't like in a kit and now I will have more options.
Also love the new files. I haven't bought them because I already have ones sold by Basic Grey and use them all the time. Love that I can now pass that info on to my customers and get the sale myself instead of giving it to BG.
Love the rub-ons, acrylic album, new colors, pretty much everything.
Okay help oeut. LOL I have been all over the new catty but have no idea what the new files are or everlasting.
I think the "files" she is referring to are the "Finishing Files" (pg 26 new book). They are great for edges of chipboard, or small edges you need to distress or file down. Makes covering dimensionals much easier...
"Everlasting" is a paperpack. I think it was introduced last year in Fall/Winter catalog (pg 38 new book). This years new paperpack you could use for holiday paper is called "Evensong". It has some beautiful colors in it!
My favorites (at least right now, I'm SURE they'll change soon, LOL!) are the Notebook paper, Chocolate Alpha's (large & small) and the Color Ready Alphas are SO convenient... Acrylic albums are very fun too!

Definitely the Color Ready Alphas....they are SO convenient, easy and versatile. Can make them any color, sponge, ink, stamp then lift off and add to card or page....voila! DONE!

There's also over 700 pieces of CTMH artwork at http://www.suzstampgallery.com
Feel free to add your artwork to the gallery also!
Loving all of the new paper packs! I didn't think I was going to like the Evensong pack, but I did an acrylic album with it yesterday and am working on a My Creations Display album today and even the larger pattern paper is growing on me.
Well thanks, Lela, I'll try that. But I am on slow, cheap dial-up on a small PC, and generally can't see video. No Youtube, no moveing smilies~ but I will check it out just in case!
I just went in with 2 friends on a "hobby" consultancy. Hope it doesn't end up ruining our friendship as it was hard to divide the kit. I ended up with a lot of the stamp kits because I also make cards, a lot I wanted and didn't get. Love the paper and especially "white core". Most of what I have now is SU - but am trying to build up.

I hope so for your sake! Did you get the New "Card Originals" book? It's so AWESOME! Full of great ideas.

I have cards made using the CTMH inks that are over a year old and they are fine. I keep all the cards I make in one of those photo boxes from AC Moore, so, they are stored out of direct light. As with anything that is exposed to sunlight, the ink will fade if you leave it out long enough. I also have scrapbook pages that I stamped on about 3 years ago and they're fine also. But, I don't leave my books lying open.
