When does your sale start and does it say anything about the Cuttlebug? I've got the Cricut and want the other, just wondering if you knwo anythign since I don't get the Michael's flyer. Thanks!

Do you like your cricut? I just ordered one and wonder if it is good to have in addition to the cuttlebug, or would you have just gotten the cuttlebug if given the option.

Just wondering- How did you already get the next Michael's ad? That's cool! Too bad I have already bought two Cricuts- one for my mom and one for me. :mrgreen:
I have both as well and love them. I use the CB for embossing mainly. The Cricut is great for scrapping and adding die cuts to my cards. If you don't have either, then I would probably say get the CB first. Only because you can do embossing and die cutting with it. The Cricut only does die cuts.
That said...when does the Cricut sale start? Is it only for the machine or the cartridges too??

I think the cricut is better than the cuttlebug (CB) -CB dies (as do any dies) are only one size. W/ the cricut, you can cut any character, shape or letter any size from 1" to 5.5". That to me makes it much more versatile than the CB.
Of course ... the cricut can't emboss ... but ... you can't have everything!
I occasionally get my ads in a mailed flyer rather than the paper. I assume that's why I get mine early.
It only mentions the Cricut. There is no mention of the Cuttlebug. Bummer, I have the Cricut, and want a bug too. However there is a 50% off coupon that does not seem to exclude the CB, only Cricut items. No Cricut accessories were listed either.
The sale starts April 1st. It says the Cricut is on sales while supplies last, so if you want one I would go early because I doubt they are going to do rainchecks.
I LOVE my Cricut, super easy to use and I love that I can change the size of the pieces I want. I do want a CB though so I can emboss.
I think I covered everyone's questions. Let me know if you have more.

Unfortunatly I honestly would have been happier with the Cuttlebug.. :{
My first Cricut didn't work straight from the factory. They replaced it but still.. : sixty bucks per cartridge.. I could buy pre cut embellishments and alphas and use my chipboard instead ya know?

I live in Western MA and go to the Hadley Michaels. Which tales me an hour to get there mind you.
The last time I was there the wench refused to accepts a coupon I printed off my computer that I got from her company!! In my email. I was dumbfounded.
She snottily told me I could hav printed a dozen and used them all they don't accept them.. I was like, what??
I didn't and so what they email the coupons to you then the stores don't accept them? Nowhere on it does it say store acceptance at their own discretion or anything like that!
Ohthere is NEVER a Manager there either or they hide!

I bought a CB at Michael's using my 50% coupon from AC Moore so it was $40. In my area, the CB sells for $89.99 at AC Moore and $79.99 at Michael's. I print my online coupons from AC Moore and I can use them at my Michael's. Their policy changed just the last few months since before they would not let me us online AC Moore coupons.
I also use the Michael's coupons at AC Moore. I went to the Michael's in Keene and they let me use a AC Moore online coupon and a Michael's newspaper coupon with the same purchase. My local Michael's only lets you use one coupon a day. Each store is different dependent on the manager.
I don't think it's a joke. The sale starts March 31st. But again, they probably have a couple in stock so I'm sure a lot of people will walk away disappointed.

You have to go to go to check-out to see the reduced price on the cuttlebug itself & the dies & folders
I see the Cuttlebug is 89.99 crosseed out price then 79.99 crossed out price, if I put it in my cart it reads 79.99, I went to check out as I thought I recalled this from previous sales on this site ( Il ove by the way the site) and yup, there was the 59.99 sale price.
Good news for me.
I orderd a Cuttlebug for the same $59.99-5% an hour ago from happy stamper or something.
My friend ajcmeyer *Abby** on here sent me the link and a 5% off code.. I picked up some sale priced folders as well.
They only charged $8.00 for shipping as well and the total order was under $84.00 Happy Birthday to me.. much better than the crock pot with removable insert I asked for :{....
Ok I don't want my husband to sound like a chump.. I have a four year old who let the cat out of the bag but I'm not telling onher.. I was in to my Michaels today and they didn't have ANY in stock for tomorrow. They were hoping they came before tomorrow. :rolleyes: I'm in Canada, but our 50% off coupon does state "all cricut products". There is also a 30% off "your entire regular price purchase" good for Sat April 7 6-9pm only. It's going to be a mad house this week!

I called Michaels' yesterday and asked them if I came in and bought a cricut, Can I return it on Saturday and then buy it back for the sale price. The manager said yes(as long as it was unopened and had reciept), so when my husband went and bought one yesterday he got the manager to sign a piece of paper saying I can return it on Saturday (unopened and with reciept) to buy it back at the sale price. They only had three in stock so that's why we bought it early. I still don't know if I really want it yet, but now I can think about it knowing I got a good price!

So I called my local Michael's to see what the deal was with the 'limited quantity'. Turns out my Michael's has 15 Cricuts for the sale tomorrow. Basically if you're not in line before the store opens tomorrow, you're out of luck. I can't speak for other locations but I'm sure this will be common with other Michael's stores.

I called the closest Michael's to me (4 hrs) and they let me buy one over the phone, when I called earlier in the week they said they had lots.

We get our Michaels ad sometimes in wednesdays mail. They just started doing that a few months ago, we get AC Moore too in mail. So I get double with my sunday paper
