Default Cricut & felt??

Can I cut felt with my new Cricut? I was thinking along the lines of felt flowers. What do you think??

pricecheck.....Personally, I would not cut felt for the same reason I won't cut cork. I don't want the fibers to get into the workings of my machine.

I'm sure some people have done it, but I'm not willing to take the chance.

I use my BIGkick for cuttng felt and cork.

If you do decide to cut the felt, I would use a stiff kind and also one that has a paper backing on it to give it stability. Same is true if you decide to cut fabric.

I've tried it- the stuff without backing just shreds and moves around and makes the mat not very sticky anymore. The stiffer felt with backing works okay for less detailed cuts- I tried snowflakes I got a few good cuts and some not so good but I think it left alot fibres in the blade to clean. Not highly recommended.
