Default Cricut Expression Newbie - HELP

 I just got my Cricut Expression about two weeks ago and had a chance over the weekend to sit down and play a little bit. It's an AWESOME machine BUT I'm having a small problem. I have the DoodleCharms cartridge and say I'm making the cat face at at a size of 4 inches. How do I know what size to make the layers of his/her whiskers and nose? It's the layers that I'm having a problem sizing on the main image???? Thanks in advance for you help!!! It's VERY appreciated!!!

I believe you leave it set at 4 inches. This will cut all the layers for a 4 inch face.

Casey.....That's a very common question I get all the time in the classes I teach on the Expression .

Yes, what ever size you cut the original image/font out, you would use for the Shadow or Layers. The Expression is wonderful and can figure that all out for you to come out just how it should!!

Just make sure "Real Dial Size" isn't on...that would cut every piece at 4" rather than proportional for a 4" cat face.
