There is definitely a learning curve when it comes to electronic die cutting machines. The first one I got took me forever to figure it out
Cricut should have some videos to get you started or look for beginner videos on Youtube.
Basically you're going to download the software onto your computer, and hook the Cricut to your computer, open up the design software and open an image/design in the software, (use a design that comes with the machine, purchase one from their store or use the fonts from your computer). You can adjust size, etc. Place your material on the mat and load it into the machine, in the design software choose the type of material you are cutting and then hit the cut button. This is just the very basics, try simple projects to get the hang of it and then you can learn all the bells and whistles.
