I have.......1. I bought one to give it a try and haven't had much luck/time/money...so maybe later down the road I can really give them a go!

I have about 14 that I bought about about 3 months ago. 4 of them are dried out already and I did not excessively use them.
I will not be buying anymore. They are just to expensive for me. THey are nice but I have otehr coloring options I am going with. Truthfully I like the tips on the Prismas better for me. I just bought the Bics Mark-its and Sharpies and I really like them.
I have one set of 12 Copics markers. A friend bought them for me. While I think they are okay, I cannot justify spending that kind of money on markers. And I used to think that the SU markers were expensive, how wrong was I !!!!!! I have seen some beautiful colouring and shading done with Copics, but I know that I will never be able to colour, shade, blend like that, so why get frustrated (and broke) trying ... I will stick to my SU markers, my Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol, my watercolour crayons, my regular pencil crayons ... I have lots of other choices!
I thought I couldn't do it either and I know I still need help since I JUST got them but they're pretty awesome. I don't know about Caio ones but the Sketch color so nice, even if you just wanted to color.
DBF said he shelled out the $$ for them tonight to a friend so I'm guessing that means it wasn't a loan anymore!! AND that means money back in my pocket for what now COPICS!!!
I just placed what I hope is my last order. It puts me over the 200 mark.
But I know I'll want the new colors when they come out. <sigh> It's a never-ending thing.
I know exactly what you mean - and I can still remember thinking "why on earth would you need all those different pens?" I'm not at 200 (yet) but I can oh, so easily see how it could happen.....
I just placed an order for 33 on Tuesday, my Valentines gift from DH, he was feeling guilty because he didn't get me anything, anyway that will put me over the 250 mark and my goal is to have all of them. I get obsesed with new toys and I usually have to have them all if I really like them. I like using them and I usually use them on average once a day so it is worth the expense for me as I don't have any other habits that I have to worry about, and we live in a small town so we don't go out much either.

gosh; I don't understand that? ;) ROTF! Ya know I have felt the guilt too but when you think that the price of 1 concert ticket would buy a whole lot of markers, or even the price of a night out.... We just have something to show for our $$$$ after all is said & done. And for that matter, how many people have hundreds if not thousands of CDs and DVDs? Now I have to get back to orgaanizing my hundreds of different papers. :p
I have none. That's right...ZERO. I've never liked markers though, so I don't see myself getting excited about Copics anytime soon. Give me a good colored pencil and some mineral spirits and you've made my day.
Well, I'm a newbie to Copics. I just acquired one 36 marker set of Ciaos, and have 12 marker sets of Spica and Sketches coming from Oozak. I don't know if I like them at all yet as I really haven't even colored anything yet. I have collected info on how to, and will hopefully find the time to give them a try this weekend. In a way, I hope I don't fall in love with them, BECAUSE they are just too expensive for me to feel ok about buying more of them. Know what I mean?
Okay, so who has the entire set? And how many would that be??
You can click on the number of votes and it tells you who voted what.
And an entire set would technically be 322 (the number of colors Sketch comes in) however some people could have more than that if they buy doubles of a color in other styles like wide, caio or original for other applications.

I have 60. Got a bunch for Valentine's Day. I now have 46 of the 48 SU colors, the neutrals and this year's and last year's In Colors. Misordered Yoyo Yellow and the company I ordered from was out of the Rose Red match.

Very true!!
I started buying a dozen markers each time DH bought a video game...at $60 a shot he was still spending more! I haven't kept up on that...I just like that he can't guilt me in the slightest when he comes home with a new game and I have shipping boxes on the table. We sounds like 5 year olds though when the kids go to bed...he says: *Well, I am going to play my game...are you going to color??* LOL

I never liked regular markers, because of the lines, but these are easier to blend and I do like them. I've been collecting for a year now and have just over 150.

I agree....I never used markers either, till I tried Copics. Besides the blending issue...I love that they come in really PALE colors, which most markers do not.

I took a class at Creative Pals in Brookfield Wi and I was sure if I would like them. I bought a few of them started to play around with them and now I'm hooked.
I love the bold colors and the blending is coming together. I have found the more I play with them I learn how to use them better.

This is so cute, but so true for some of us. My kids like to tell there friends and teachers that all mommy does during the day is color with her crayons and markers, little do they know that mommy's crayons and markers cost more than there salary for one month.

My mom thinks that I am crazy to spend so much on my markers and some of my other supplies, I just tell her that it is my form of entertainment and I have something to show for it when all is said and done unlike her who has a $300+ smoking habit. I haven't lived at home for 25 years and she still bugs me about my spending habits.
I don't have any becuase I really can't afford them. I use Blick Studio markers instead they are a little more affordable. I do still have to buy them a couple at a time.
I have about 87. I got a set of 72 Sketch for Christmas (and a colorless blender) and then I started supplementing my supply with what could be found at Hobby Lobby.
Ack! I can't believe it, but I just went and counted them. I'm at 193, but ordered about 20 more yesterday with carpe diem's free shipping sale. Hmm. I might be addicted (at least I am not alone). lol Love my markers!
I vote 1-25, I think I have a dozen or so, but I've only tryied touse them once or twice- just haven't gotten the hang of them. I'd probably try to unload them but DS likes to use them for his art class projects.
I just got another 29 from Oozak the other day. That pushed me up to 115. I don't need all the colors but would like more than I have now. Since I have changed to using copic's the compliments on my cards that I give have increased greatly. Which of course goes to my head and I buy more . . . . feeding the artistic need!! I can see where some aren't drawn to them but for me personally, I'm greatful I was introduced to them.

I just started collecting Copic markers. So far, I have one 36 marker set of Ciaos and a blender pen. I have ordered a set of 12 Sketch and 12 Spica. They should be here soon from Oozak.
Do I like Copics? Well...it's too early to tell as I really haven't tried any of them out yet. Actually, I kind of hope I don't like them because of the cost investment. I know if I LOVE them, I'll WANT to BUY more!!!!
Did you all hear there are 12 more new colors coming out in April?? (maybe May?...can't remember)
It's never going to end...LOL
Thats okay! It's so much easier though once you have them all and only have to buy the new ones, lol. I'm going to try to put in a big order before everyone raises their prices to the $4.86 per marker.
I have 2, count them 2. I printed off the copic color chart of all 322 colors and colored in my 2 colors. They looked so lonely. I plan to collect them 2 at a time at HL. I am afraid that is all that fits in the budget right now.
