Has anyone used these and if so what do you think of them? I have a lot of Distress Inks and some SU ink pads, but they dont' work so well on clear stamps. I am a member with the Stamps of Life so I would get a discount on these, but it looks like the top is smooth/shiny, I heard it's because the designer wanted an inkpad that would not impart it's texture on the stamp image. Any opinions?

thanks ladies and jeanne beautiful card, the bubblegum is a nice shade of pink. I was thinking that if you are a member the prices for the ink pads in bundles is kind of good, for the reinkers too.

Sorry to hijack a little - are these the same types of inks you can get a Michael's just in specific colours for Stephanie? I am also a club member so would get a discount and would LOVE to find an ink that would be more 'all purpose' for my clear stamps. Just thought this might be a way to try one out first before ordering the set. Thanks for any help!

I haven't bought the ones at Michaels, but yes they are exclusive colors for her from the same line. The surface may be different as well - the person at her booth at the Great Lakes Mega Meet said Stephanie didn't like the way a lot of pads left their texture on the stamp surface and was then visible on the stamped image so she specifically asked for a smooth surface. Not sure if the other ones by the company have that same surface.

I love her stamp pads - the colors are nice and vibrant and the smooth pad does give wonderful results.
I was wondering if the new SU ink pads are similiar since they now have a foam pad.
I hadn't heard that new colors have been released. I'll have to check out her website to look into purchasing the new colors once they are released - thanks for enabling!!! ;)

I bought some thru the joann.com website. They were cheaper than purchasing them thru stamps of life directly.
I was so excited and went right to the website, but the only color they had a available was blueberry :-( but it was cheaper at 2.96, my member price is 3.83 each when you divide the set price by 6.

I bought all the colors back in April of this year. I paid 3.14 when divided by 6. Joann's had a 30% off sale, which I took advantage of. With the sale that Joann's is currently running, with that price, it's no wonder that they sold out. I too am a member of stamps of life. I compared both prices, and found that Joann's was cheaper. If your not in a hurry, I would check Joann's again later one, to see if they have the stamp pads in stock and if there is a sale on them. At the time I orderd the ink pads, I had ordered other items, to get the free shipping. You can sign up on the joann's website to get ane e-mail about their coupons. Or you can try this website, which I use:

I like solid stamps but hate they way the images don't stamp solidly and crisply. Last year I ended up embossing Dasher because I could not get a crisp solid image after dozens of attempts. I even replaced the E-Z mount on Dasher hoping to get a solid stamped image . Nada
I also avoid clear stamps for the same reason. I was so disappointed when Justrite went to clear stamps. I love their stamps but don't like clear stamps. And yes I have tried the good company clear stamps .
I am going to try to find these ink pads .
