Default Changing switch on Big Shot Express

I have a electric big shot. Due to my progressive muscle disease, I am not able to push the button to operate it. My OT thought about checking to see if we could put a toggle switch on it. I call Ellison and their customer support talked to the technician or engineer. He told her it would be pretty easy to do this. My father-in-law is on board to do it, but is wondering if there is a print out on opening up the machine.. Does any have such a thing, or do I need to call Ellison back?

no help here, but I wish you the best of luck and hope you will let us know how it goes. (Aren't OT's the best? and yay for a willing FIL!)
