I just saw this mentioned in an email I received from Archiver's and then Googled it - JoAnn's carries it ONLINE ONLY for $45 for 12-15 sheets of 12x12 paper in a package.

Amazon carries it for prices from $5 for a package up to $30.

Anyone use this paper for cardmaking?

This is the first I've heard of it - and probably the last, for me, lol. That kind of a price tag makes me flinch.

Okay, I googled and found out it's black and like a chalkboard. So you can write on it with chalk? Interesting concept, but still too pricey for my budget.

You can buy chalkboard paint (pretty inexpensive - I think I got mine at Walmart?) and make your own chalkboard paper by just painting the paper with the chalkboard paint. There are various brands for your selection....

What about the DCWV Chalkboard Stack? I haven't tried it, but it's chalkboard paper. It is also half the price of that one you're talking about! Plus, you can use a coupon on it!

I googled chalkboard cardstock and I found a cool link about using regular basic black cardstock and plain old chalk:

So, instead of spending $$$ on chalkstock paper, it looks like the good old basic black with chalk works just fine

The Chalkboard paper stack is by DCWV. I bought mine at Joanns. It normally retails for 19.99 for 36 12x12 sheets. However I bought mine when all there paper was half off. You
can write on it with chalk or use it as normal cardstock. I did a card and embossed on it - worked beautifully. The finish is super smooth- like silk. The colors include: black,
dark gray, light gray, burgundy, dusty blue, and chalkboard green.
