Question Can I use a blender pen with my Prismacolor pencils?

Could I use a blender pen filled with OMS to work with my Prismacolors?

I have never tried this, I feel that too much of the OMS would come out, and soak into the paper. I use those blending stumps, so that not too much OMS will get into the paper. I think your paper would get really soaked with the spirits if you used an aqua brush. But this is just my opinion...ladies, have any of you tried this?

Do you mean a blender pen or an aqua painter? I use my blender pens with prismacolor all the time, but just as they come, not filled with anything special. Aqua painter I use with water color pencils and crayons as well as with stamp pad inks.

Default blender pen?

I didn't know that the blender pens would work with the pencils. I get tired of dipping and redipping the stump! I'll give it a try! I was thinking I'd have to find an empty one and fill it with OMS.

A Dove blender pen works great, because the nibs do not have much give to them. Plus the Dove blender is easily fillable with OMS and you can buy replacement nibs. The Fantastix by Tsukineko work well also. Plus I have had great results using a Goo Gone pen - it has a chisel tip so you can work in small areas as well as large ones. You wouldn't believe the things I've tried instead of having to use blending stumps - I absolutely cannot stand the feel of the stumps in my hand - kinda the same feeling as someone screeching their fingernails along a bulletin board! So I have tried all of the above, and if someone has a better idea, PLEASE let me know - lol!

There is a blender pen made for colored pencils. I have two of them from waaaaay back in the day. Don't know if they're still made. Mine says National Colored pencil blender on it. I believe I bought it at Michael's or an art supply store. I usually found it by the drawing supplies, pencils, rulers, charcoal, etc. It works almost as well as stump dipped in OMS, it's got two points, fine and brush nibs. I'm going to try and fill it with OMS when it runs dry, but after years of just sitting on my desk, it still works.
