I need suggestions for storing the round SU and MM plastic tins with brads, eyelets, and other goodies in them. I like the SU spinning case, but would prefer something wall mountable. If I have to pick them all up off the floor again I will scream!!! Kids + Craft Room = MESS.
TIA for your suggestions
Jen

Someone (can't remember who) had pics of their stamping room with a wall mounted solution. They put their embellishments into the small round metal containers with clear lids, glued magetic sheeting to the bottom, then stuck them to a metal strip that was wall mounted.
Jo-ann fabrics sells something like that. It's a piece of metal that is wall mountable and has metal containers with clear lids that adhere to the metal that it magnetized. I believe it comes with 5 or 6 containers and retails for 19.99.
Here is a link to the organizer I use. It opens up like a book, and has eight, plastic, 7-compartment, removable containers. Very convenient and easy to access.

The old Stampin' Stack from SU is wall-mountable. Since they are no longer available, you may be able to get some in the BST forum. Each one holds 6 of the SU containers.
SU's containers are made by New Phase Inc... also known as Tidy Crafts. You can order them directly off their website (and in bulk so much much cheaper).
Michaels sells the old Stampin' Stack that SU used to carry for the containers. The bummer is that it comes full of more containers. But it is wall mountable. It comes with screws and litle guides on the back to fit over the screws. I mounted mine to my desk rails. works really well, except I need at least one more right now. They are pretty cheap if you have a coupon.

Reason: forgot the name
My girlfriend just picked up for me a carousel that has 4 cylinders which each contain 6 crystal clear containers - only $8.99! Each cylinder is removable and sits in a carousel. I hape you have a Christmas Tree shop near you!
At hardware stores they have the metal casement with clear little drawers for screws and such. I've used these for my jewelry findings. Just tape one to the front and you can see what is in the drawer. These are fairly inexpensive and are wall mountable.
I use embellishment organizers from Oriental Trading's scrapbook catalog. They are clear, rectangular boxes with 24 small containers (look like Tic tac boxes) to separate your eyelets/brads, etc. They work great for me!!
I just got the CRaft Mate holders that PaperBouquet mentioned. I LOVE, LOVE LOVE them! They hold a TON of eyelets and don't open (I've had disasters with the round containers opening). I organize by color family so I grab one of the groups and they are all there...in different colors...ready for me to use.
I've was at IKEA the other day and while looking at their wall mountable spice rack couldn't help but think of putting brads, eyelets and prima's in them... my mind is constantly crafting
I got the little pill plastic cases from the dollar store....I picked up one that has 4 weeks of pill pockets which gives you 28 holders. I do put an elastic band around to hold in place but they work great and are not bulky for travel

I went to Walmart and bought the Bead/craft organizer plastic containers. They are about $2 a piece. I don't have my craft room completed as I would like but it's one step at a time. I will eventually have a shelf that these will sit on by my workspace. I like these also because you can keep more than just eyelets in them. You can also keep everything sorted by colors so you're not constantly hunting. I got this idea from Nichole Heady (Papertrey Ink). Here is the link to the entry on her blog that shows her new studio!

Oriental Trading has a container that holds 24 tic tac like plastic containers. The box itself is about 4x6. They don't take up much room, and the little containers hold quite a few brads or eyelets.

I use these too but buy them at Walmart for under $5.00 each.

I use these too. They are SO ROOM-SAVING which is exactly what I need. Got mine at Hobby Lobby with a coupon!

I have a smaller one of these (petite?) and it works *perfectly* for the eyelet share that Pinkhedgehog hosted a while back. The 'containers' are just like the 7-day pill organizers you find. The petite size has 10 containers and holds sooo much! Here's a link to where I got mine: http://www.birdcreektrading.com/Purp...p/apo90251.htm
I go to the Dollar Tree and buy the 2 week's worth pill boxes... yes they have Sun through Sat on the lids... but when I drop my box... I don't have all my contents spill, just the compartment that has it's door open. I have also been wild and crazy and spent $2.25 for the bigger 1 week pill box at Rite Aid.
I bought a organizer box from Home Depot. It's the same one most men have hanging in their garages with nuts and bolts in it. The one I have has 50 drawers which are dividable into 3 sections.

for my tiny tidbits...I use a utility storage unit I got from the hardware dept at walmart - you know the plastic "cabinets' with the tiny drawers in them - you can get them with all little drawers or a mix of little ones and bigger ones depending on your needs - these are easily mounted to the wall with screws - you should be able to see mine in my gallery - mine's yellow/grey - but of coarse I had to decorate it up a little!!
Storage for my small items in the Atelier (my stamp studio) is neat, easy up on the wall to free up lots of space. I placed a magnetic strip on the SU containers and the purchased the magnetic boards at the Wally World. There are two of these and I use them for all the small thing that are hard to contain. This makes them easy to see, reach and control. I have a picture in my gallery if you would like to see it go to flourishes (my SCS name). Sorry I don't know how to add the thumbnail...arg
I was at a scrap book retreat last weekend and one of the girls had a really cool binder type storage thing from Close to My Heart. It opened up and each side had holes for 30 containers if I remember correctly - giving you a total of 60 spaces. They are about $20 and you can get - I think 6 empty containers for $2.50
the things I liked about it were - not easy to open, seperate boxes so i can make color families or whatever. I think you can buy more of the containers, and it has the travel case, so I can take it to workshops and crops.
WOW! That is awesome. Looks like it holds much more than the one CTMH makes! I looked at Michaels the other day (I had a 40% off coupon) and I could not find anything like that at my local michaels.
