I've used Palette Inks (as Dina mentioned above) for all media, and it works just fine. It's actually my go-to black inkpad.

Thanks! This is great news. I knew there was a reason I always seem to have success with products from Stewart Superior. I didn't know they made so many brands.

I just checked. My lovely Memories inks are made by Stewart Superior, as well!

I finally put little notes on my black ink pads indicating "safe with" either Copics or watercolor because I kept forgetting which was which
