Hey everyone! I love my crystal effects, but can't seem to keep it from drying at the tip making it unusable. I have tried putting a stick pin down the top, but that seems to get rusty. Someone out there must have some ideas on how to make this work. Please help! Thanks!!
I use CE a lot and what works for me is to wipe the outside of the tip with a baby wipe then I put the tip in my mouth and gently blow. Sounds icky I know but since I've started doing this I have never had my CE clog. I also tap it like lindylou does.

I store mine point down...I have not had any issues with clogs.
blessings.
Just an update......I threw out my old bottle because it was all clogged up and I was tried of fighting with it. I opened a brand new bottle over a month ago......and I've stored it upside down ever since. NO CLOGS!!!! Horay!!!!!! It flows nicely every time I pick it up now. Thanks so much for the tip. You've saved my sanity!
i've been storing all my "tip" bottles upside down (crystal effects, glitter glue, etc) and it does seem to work. Just need a better container to stor them in. THinking to have son drill holes in some wood planks but havent' gotten to that yet
Reading this post today as I have had many issues with my crystal effects clogging up. I do store it upside down and BTW I use a plastic up that I put them in. Works great. I store the cup near my window so wondering if the light has something to do with the clogging!
Same frustration here. I bought a piece of the green heavy styrofoam from Michael's and cut it to fit in a drawer. Then I pushed each bottle in, rotate, push, rotate, push until it fit in nicely upside down. I use it for all the 'tip' bottles.
I recently came up with an idea that works for me. I keep a pin in the tip. The kind with a color ball on top and put the CE top on it. When I want to use it, I pull the pin out and everything flows nicely.
