Attaching rick rack?
I am having trouble with this..I was wondering how people attach their rick rack ribbon, WITHOUT tying a knot..do you use glue dots? I have tried the mono and it didn't stay/stick..how do you pros do it?

I run it through my Xyron X
Works great! I use the adhesive remover thing before I take it off the backing sheet. HTH

I use Diamond Glaze which is Crystal Effects for Stampin Up. It only takes a touch to the rick rack so go easy with it.

I use FabriTac glue. It's clear, fast-drying adhesive that works anywhere you'd think of using a glue gun. It is available at Michael's, Joann's, and Walmart.

Xyron or Sticky Strip (also called Terrifically Tacky Tape). It's marvelous.

the little xyron X sticker maker is the *perfect* thing for this. i also use it for ribbon! it's refillable and only costs (without a coupon, even) ten bucks!! and the refills are pretty cheap as well! it's one of my most *favoritest* tools i own and SO much easier than glue dots---you must have one!!!

forgot to mention it comes in pink and purple as well, so that makes it even more of a must-have!!!!

Glue dots for me because I don't have the small xyron and can't justify wasting adhesive from the bigger one on ribbon :-)

Thank you all for the great suggestions! I wasn't the one to start the post, but have been putting off using my rick rack because I wasn't sure how to adhere it! It's great I can always count on SCS for these important questions that need answering.

Glue lines or Xyron. I think the Mono Aqua is terrible. It warps my paper and doesn't hold anything else.

To avoid waist, I do 2 pieces at a time if the ribbon or rick rack is narrow enough. Usually I am making more than one card, anyway.
