Question Attaching clear SU stamps to blocks

While I just love the new clear stamps, I often have difficulty getting them to stick to the block. I find this even more of a struggle when I try to clean them. Is there something that I should be doing to get them to stick better?

I had the same problem until I invested in the Stampin' Up blocks.

Yes, you should not apply the sticker to your stamps. The sticker, though cool, is not correctly designed to stick to the blocks. If you do plan to use the sticker, then make sure you NEVER touch the sticker, keep it super clean, keep your block super clean, and smash the stamp onto the block very very well before each use. Even with that, it'll still likely fall off when you clean. So, my solution is to not use the sticker.

I just received my first set of these, and I was a bit disappointed with their grab factor...lol. The stickers are a must have for me, so I just painted a thin layer of Aleene's Tack-It Over & Over on top of the stickers using a foam brush and let it dry...easy peasy! The only thing is that I am not sure if the product will have a negative effect on the case that they will be adhered to. We'll see!

I just lay my stamps on the table and press the block onto the stamp. Hold firmly for a few seconds and it's on there good and tight. It does need a little longer and firmer pressing than sticky backed stamps. Sort of like pressing when you're making sure a suction cup gets completely stuck on.

I cut the stickers down as far as I could to the image. This leaves a "border area" for the much-stickier foam with which to stick to the block.

I have the same problem. Mine not only don't stick too well to my blocks, but they really don't stay put in the case!
