I use my coupon at Michaels or HObby Lobby. I buy a whole pad and it lasts for a long time. I also like that I can watercolor (on a larger surface) if I want.
About a month ago, I was in Aaron Frames and they had the Strathmore pads of watercolor paper there for $3.99. I bought a whole bunch for I use that as card base a lot. Love the heavy paper etc. Anyway, Michael's had the same kind next door and with my 40% coupon, would have been more. Plus the pads at Aaron's had 15 sheets in them (you got 3 extra) and the ones at M's only had 12. It turned into a great buy. You may want to try your local Aaron's and see if they still have them. It really wasn't a sale but a special price type deal. Good luck!
Dick Blick, or Jerry's Artarama are great online sources. I personally like Canson and Strathmore, which you can most likely find at your local art or craft store as well.

Since I have found how much higher quality SU's CS is than what i was getting free at Archiver's I have been using my coupon for the watercolor paper w/ their card stock. It has been fine for my projects.
Most online art supply stores (DickBlick.com, JerrysArtarama.com, MerriArtist.com, CheapJoes.com) have good quality watercolor paper for the best price. Your local craft store will have some good watercolor paper like Arches but they are very pricey, and they don't have hot press paper. Hot press is the smoothest w/c paper, and IMO the best for stamping on. Cold press can be a bit rough, but it depends on the brand. I have tried many different brands and so far I love the Fabriano aquarello hot press best. I get if from Dick Blick as well. Their shipping is pretty high though, so if you have an art supply store close to you, you might want to go there first.
HTH!
