I just don't see myself using the bigger machine. I also have the other one. I do like the fact that If I do ever get the bigger machine, the cartridges will still work. Now I'm trying to decide if I want a cuttlebug for a bigkick.

have the cuttlebug and love the embossing folders, I don't like die cuts so it doesn't appeal to me.

That's the only reason I'm looking at the machines is for the embossing. I do love my cricut for die cutting.

No, but I really, really want to! I just have a hard time justifying it since the only thing I've used my current one for is to show everyone who comes over what a cool tool it is!

My local craft store, that happens to be owned by Provo Craft, had it listed this week for $349.00. http://www.robertscrafts.com/specials/index.php
I don't scrapbook, but I do love a new toy. ;) :mrgreen:

I think that's probably the one that accommodates paper that is 6X12. The new one takes 12X12 paper & card stock. It's brand new and more expensive!

I do not have the new one but sure would like to! I use the original one quite a bit. I love making little goodie bags with the Tags cartridge! I have also used it a lot for school projects for my kids.
I would love to be able to cut larger bags, boxes, etc. Also, 12x12 scalloped scrap pages would be neat!

{Please check in with us and let us see some projects you have made with the new Cricut!}

I am going to wait, though. With the new SU catalog coming out I want to put my $$ on new stamps! Maybe, I'll ask for it for Christmas!

Yup . . . my fiance dropped and broke my older one, so when I saw the new one on sale for close to the same price I jumped on it . . . and got the $$$ from him. It is in Utah now heading for me!

I think that's going to be the regular price for us Roberts fans...that's what it was on Saturday when I was there. I will have to start scrapbooking before getting this fun tool though.

I really, really want one! Can't afford it right now, but hopefully I'll get one for Christmas! If for nothing else, it will come in SO handy for all of my kids' school projects! lol. But really, I would probably use it a lot. I do way more cards than scrap pages, but I really need to pick scrapbooking back up!

I have already put in my request for the new one for Christmas. Can't wait. It will be great to be able to use 12 inch paper. More cuts before having to change out the paper. I guess I will sell the one that I have now. Love the Cricut.

I don't have it but I am perfectly happy with the original one.... for now. A few of my friends have the larger version and they are happy with it. I don't use a lot of chipboard and I am fine with the 5 1/2 " size cuts. Myrna on the Cricut thread has it. Check in over there and ask her what she thinks about it. I'm pretty sure she loves it!
