Default 7 kids college fund Outstanding Service

I recently made my first purchase from 7 kids college fund and wanted to let others know of their excellent service. I received my order incredibly quickly and the products were in excellent condition. I ordered several packages of the Neenah Classic Crest Solar white in both the smooth and ultrasmooth. The paper was wrapped in bubble wrap and then another envelope, then in a flat rate box with the styrofoam peanuts.
This is the first time I have received undamaged paper -- I have ordered from 2 other big name companies on SCS and I always get at least one corner of dented paper.
Oh, and also the 25 pack of Neenah Classic Crest was $3.50 (plus 10% off) so it was also the best price, too.

Jumpin' on the bandwagon - I preordered 2 Scor-Pals from them along with a couple of sets of Pebbles chalks and then chewed my fingernails while I waited for my shipment - thinking that the chalks would arrive all broken and what was I thinking mail-ordering those?

Well, not only did I get my order before I even expected it to ship, it was packed so well that not a speck of chalk or a pom-pom was out of place.

Also, I had a couple of questions after I'd submitted the order, and got extremely quick responses to those questions.

I also think they have great customer service.

My first order with them was shipped to the wrong person. When I e-mailed to find out what was going on, I got a quick response, a $5 gift cert. for the store and a nice freebie with the re-shipped order. Things go wrong and they made a good effort to compensate.

I have ordered from them several times and have always had great service and quick shipping. In fact I just ordered something from them this morning and I had a shipped notice about 2 hours later, I can't wait to get my order. They are also really great about discounts and shipping is not that much even to Canada.

I don't know what you ordered, but could it have been an item that she gets directly from the manufacturer or maybe a pre-order item? I don't think two weeks is all that long at all for something like that. (And she does have her shipping info pretty clear on the site.)

I understand your frustration. I hope you get a response and give her another chance. I've shopped a few times there and have always gotten the best of service.

well the item did say in stock, so if it was supposed to take longer, i should have been notified or something should have been on the website. it was the ATG 714. i am still waiting for a reply. i just want to know why it took so 18 days to ship. if i had known it was going to take that long i would have cancelled. the day i got the email i was shocked, i had expected it to be delivered that week, not shipped.

I feel your pain because I sent an email days ago that hasn't been replied to either. I'm sure my order will arrive quickly, but if I could have received a response to my initial question I probably would have added to my order. Oh well, some money saved I guess.

Warmly,
Anne

I ordered 5 times over a three year period back when it was an E-bay store. 3 times something was missing from my order and on one of those, it took over 3 weeks because she misplaced another one of the items. With 2 of the orders, she did include something extra when she went the missing item(s). My orders were always large, usually over $100 and with many items, so that may have been part of the problem in getting the packing straight. On the 3rd order with items missing, when I mentioned to her that I now had 3 orders with items missing, she denied it and suggested I might want to take my shopping elsewhere, so I have.

I apologize that I have not received an e-mail from you, which I would certainly have happily responded to. I'm not sure if the e-mail problem is on my end. I never purposefully ignore any customer e-mails.

I can shed some light on why there was a delay. Items that are paid for using and e-check with paypal are not registered as paid until the payment clears. I always recommend paying with an instant form of payment such as a credit card or paypal balance if you don't wait for payment to clear before your items ship (or is ordered, in this case). So, in the case of an item that has a 1 to 2 week ship time, such as the ATG, paying with an e-check will even further delay shipment, as I do not order the item until the payment registers in the system which occurs when the payment clears. Sometimes e-checks can take up to 10 days to clear.

I hope that helps clear things up.

If I do not respond to an e-mail, it is not because I'm ignoring it, it's because I didn't get it or there is something wrong with your or my e-mail system. And, for those of you who are on SCS, which is everyone reading this, if I don't respond to an e-mail, you can always PM me! I'm totally happy to address any problems.

I absolutely promise that I do not ignore any customer's e-mail. If I don't answer, it's because I didn't get it. Because I send out tons of e-mails, I know that there are lots of glitches that keep e-mails from being sent. If you don't hear from me, please try again or PM me.

I am issuing an open smiley to any customer past or present that has not received an e-mail reply

As some of you know, I am (very) human. And, although I absolutely refuse to acknowledge this to my husband, I do make mistakes. I have sold tens of thousands of things in my little online career. I feel confident in saying that the vast majority of those transactions have been flawless and positive experiences.

However, I have shipped the wrong things, I have left things out, I have shipped to the wrong person and I have made errors in inventory. And, I have suggested to the occasional customer that they shop elsewhere (for reasons I won't air here). If everyone whose order had an error in it posted on this thread, it would be long, but if everyone who's had good customer service posted, it would be at least 99% longer than that. For the most part, customers do know the honest mistakes occur and are understanding.

I only want to do the right thing and provide the best customer service to my customers. Thanks to everyone for their kinds words. I do appreciate it!!!

I have had nothing but GREAT experiences shopping with her. I used to buy ALL them time when she was just an EBAY store. I have already placed my pre-order for the CB folders (bummer that I didn't know of the discount code). Oh well...that is MY fault...not the sellers.
I will remain a loyal customer.

I think the discount code is only good on in-stock items, not pre-orders.

Thank you for replying! I understand the echeck clearance think, Gina does the same thing so i am used to it, thats why i had expected it to ship around the 9th, but when i placed the order it did say in stock.
It did not state that you would be ordering from the manufacturer. Had i known that, i would have placed my order elsewhere for that item. Please consider revising descriptions for such items in the future.
Again, thanks for seeing the post and replying.
