Look at what I found at Michaels yesterday. Chipboard Books in the dollar section. My Michaels had this one flower book, and lots of butterflies. There are 5 chipboard pages and they measure just under 6" across.

I am going today to buy some of these as well, I want to take them apart and use them to spell out my daughters name. She'll hang them with ribbon on the door.
any other ideas?

Oh! I'm so glad to see these! My DD is doing a book report on the 100 Penny Book and she has to make SOME kind of creation representing 1 penny for every year she's been alive and include photos, writing, etc.
My idea was to make DP flowers in a vase with the photos in the middle of the flowers and her sentences on the leaves. I still havent figured out where we'll put the pennies but there's time to work that out.
Anyway, I can use these to cover with DP instead of cutting chipboard with my Cricut. I'll have to go over there today and check it out. Thanks for the alert!
A banner is a great idea for a young ladies room! How about a quote book for Mom for Mother's Day....especially if she is into flowers. You could have quotes in there about flowers and gardening. Embelish with butterflies and bling!

if you use a clear vase, put a piece of styrofoam to hold the "flowers" in place and then put the pennies in the vase so they can be seen. You might want to cover the stryofoam as the pennies really aren't going to hide it.
or maybe glue the pennies to the outside of the vase?

They are NICE! But I've never tried them . How would I use them?
Any ideas, ladies?????
I was going to make a Friends album for my daughter. They would also make great Mothers Day gifts for Moms, Grandma's, Aunts, etc. with your kids' pictures.
Wish they had heart shaped books for Valentines Day. There was only 1 flower at my Michaels and I didn't really like the Butterfly. I'm going to check out another Michaels nearby.

In case you did not get to Michael's to get these wonderfully priced items...you might just want to cut some of your own with the templates from Maya Road.
You could use some lightweight cardboard....such as found with cereal boxes, kleenex boxes, pizza boxes, etc. Depending on the weight you want, you may have to glue 2 pcs together to get the thickness you want.
