Default Using Dies to Make Shaped Cards

I apologize if this has already been asked and answered, but I couldn't find it anywhere.

I've been seeing some cute shaped cards made using the Spellbinders Nestabilities, in particular, the different labels. How do they do that??? Do they cut two pieces and put them together somehow? Or are they just one layer cards?

If anyone could explain how to do this, I'd be forever grateful!

Thanks!

I just extend the folded edge out a little bit (past the die) so it doesn't cut. It is easier than it sounds.
