Default new stamps

I have just bought these beautiful new butterfly stamps. Solid butterflys with the odd flower on the wings...Ii cant get it to stamp solid though it has the stamp pad texture on it. How can I get rid of this texture.

You could try coloring it with markers if you have a brush type tip or like stampin ups
