It looks like they used a stanard size sheet of paper dp on onside the holiday letter on the other to me Hmmm. I wonder if I am way off base guess I ll go try my guess

Okay, I'll give this a try. I have made one similar to this. It is called a Mennonite Foldnote. It looks a bit different than the one pictured, but the same general idea. Fold the top right corner down leaving about 1 to 1 1/2 inches on the left side. Fold the bottom left corner up to meet the bottom edge of the previous fold. Point the bottom right corner straight down and then fold it up about 4 inches. Now, point what began as the top left corner straight down. Fold this up so the point is above the top edge of your note. Fold the point over to the opposite side. When you are ready to send the note, the point can be stuck down with the stamp.
This is pretty easy to do, but not so easy to write directions for. Let me know if I need to make something a bit more clear, and I will try.

It says at the start that she is using an 8.5 x 11 piece of paper. Doesn't look like it has been trimmed down from that in the pics, so I would go with that measurement. HTH!

This is a neat fold. I played around with it some. I just spent a bit trying to explain it and it was confusing to me so I won't try to confuse the world. I think they don't show a picture of the back because it doesn't look as nice in the front. I think if you play around with it a bit, you will get it. Just keep trying with lots of scrap paper. I just tried to get my folds to look a little like the pictures given and it worked.

You seal the back with a sticker....I think.
Where all the ends meet.....then put stamp and address on front and mail it!!!

Fold a custom envelope. Measure the size of the card. The size paper you will need for the envelope will be double the width of the card and double the height of the card plus 1". This card is 6" x4 5/8", so a sheet of 12"x 12" scrapbook paper will work beautifully for this envelope . Fold one edge of the paper at any angle.
Fold the opposite edge to meet it.
The width of the card will fit perfectly in this area.

Unfold the paper and turn it over. Fold back 1" along the top edge to make an address band.
Turn the paper over and refold along the original two folds. Fold the edge with the address band halfway down the paper.
Place the card on the paper as a guide, lining up the top of the card with the fold you just made. Bring the bottom of the paper up over the card, making a fold along the bottom edge of the card.
Unfold the paper. Place the card inside and refold.
On the last fold, tuck the bottom edge of the paper into the top edge to close the envelope.
Add a decorative band. Tuck and adhere one short edge of a 3.5 " x12" strip of gold paper into the address band. Wrap the strip around the envelope. At the front, tuck it into the top edge.
