Default Stazon Opaque Stamp Pad

I purchase a Stazon Opaque Cotton White Ink Pad thinking that I was purchasing a pad that I could use on colored cardstock. I did not realize that I had purchased an opaque and now I don't really know how to use it. Can anyone give me examples?

Thanks.

Here's a search in the SCS Gallery on Stazon Opaque:

Hope that helps.

opaque is fine to use on colored or dark cardstock. Because it's opaque it will cover nicely. You have to ink up the pad first...and it does dry out fast...but it is opaque. If the ink were translucent...as most dye inks are...you would see the under image. HTH

Thanks for bringing this up. I bought this same inkpad last year sometime, used it once and decided I must not know how to use it. It has been languishing on my shelf ever since. I do have a few more questions, though.

How much of the reinker do I use to get it started? Do you really have to add ink each time you use it? I had been hoping for a white version of the black StazOn that I love, but this one is a lot fussier. Thanks for any pointers you can give me!
