Default Staz On Watercoloring?

Just saw the tiles done using sharpie markers and staz on cleaner - can someone tell me exactly how this is done?

Kathy, are you sure it's done with Stazon cleaner???? Maybe the person used it to smear the sharpie markers, like kind of painting with it.

Can you post a link to the tiles so we can check them out?

I think she's referring to Lana's tiles Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

I don't see stazon cleaner listed in the supplies....Lana stamped with Stazon, heat set and used sharpies to color her images

I did actually use stazon cleaner as well. My bad for not listing it. The cleaner is used on a tissue or Q-tip to soften the sharpie. If you look at the sunsets in my tiles or the water on the boy w/ the sandcastle you will see a mottled effect. That is from coloring w/ the sharpies and then sort of pouncing w/ the tip of the stazon cleaner right onto the ink.
You can also color a Q-tip w/ your sharpie and then dab it w/ the cleaner and sort of water color w/ it. The look is not as dark...very soft.
HTH,

I think these are the tiles mentioned in the OP - the instructions for using the Stazon cleaner are in the description: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

I'm wondering if this would also work for blending the Sharpies when coloring on glossy or acetate.

Well, now that everyone has actually answered the question before I even got back on here! Thanks!! I did see Stayz on cleaner somewhere - that's why I was scratching my head on it - couldn't figure out how they had done that!!! Thanks ladies!

I do believe I am losing what little bit of sanity I have left - I DID NOT see any instructions with this yesterday? Could I have seen someone else's coast to coast tiles done copying these? Duh. It's been one of those weeks - thanks!

LOL - Hi Kathy! I believe Kstamper edited her instructions, because she says "Per several requests."
