Question Stamping on Old Cd's with craft pads

Okay, used to be a consultant, got out of it and out of stamping for a few years (i know, can you just DIE??) and now am sitting at my crafting table with a bunch of cd's and i can't remember how to stamp on cd's with craft pads. I even have one i made on my tree...and i am drawing a blank. It is just the round cd...paper on one side, craft pads and stamped on the other....any one remember????

maybe you embossed after stamping with the craft ink? or perhaps it was stazon ink instead? no embossing needed with it?

and now there are alchol inks that would be perfect too...............

i would love to know the "how to" too!

I am thinking i took craft pads and sponged it on, so i am trying that this weekend. You glue paper on one side, stamping a saying or a foto on it, and use the sand blocks to get it perfectly rounded....then you use the craft pads on the other side....and then stamp a design on it. THen you cover the hole with a star or something....you put a ribbon under the paper to make a HOOK.
AWESOME.
