I know I saw a puff-ball made with ribbon on here somewhere! I thought it was through a link in the Weekly Inkling, but I looked through the archives and didn't see it.
The basic idea was to take several strips of ribbon and tie them together and then fluff them up.
Anyone know what I'm talking about or have a link to the lady's blog that came up with it?
Not the tutorial (did not find a link to tutorials on her blog but she said that is where the instructions are) but the January 3, 2008 post (at the very bottom of the link below) answers some questions bout the Ribbon Blossom so hopefully it is helpful:
I would love to get the instructions on how to do this...looks gorgeous...the links didn't get me to the right spot...I looked all over, maybe she will post again!
<hopinh, hoping, hoping.....>

It seems like the January 3rd post is no longer on the blog. Hopefully it is because the talented creator of the Ribbon Blossom is making a fantastic tutorial with photos to share with all of us! But I still don't see a place for tutorials on her blog.

You get the Positive Award for the day!!! I hadn't even thought of that!!
Well I have subscribed now, so as soon as someone knows I hope we ALL will!
Enjoy your weekend...it is nasty, cold and rainy with snow to come tomorrow...blehhhhh
Oh well all the more reason to look myself in my basement and play with my new scor-pal! LOL
This is a reply someone sent me when she asked about them.....
The best I can do is describe it like a pom pom. If you look at the post here http://indigostudio-4hounds.blogspot...d-outside.html you can see a simple version of the blossom.
Basically she cut her ribbons to about the same length ( I used about 3inches ) and lay them on top of each other, then tied another ribbon around the middle of the pile. Then took each ‘pair’ of ribbons and pulled one up the next one down to fluff them up. Then she used scissors to tidy them up. I did just read that she used anywhere between 8 and 37 ribbon pieces in her blossoms ( I think I used about 15)

(Blushing) ... Let's just hope the combined power of our positive thinking (wishing ... hoping) has the desired effect and we will soon find that there is a tutorial. I'm staying subscribed 'coz my life's hectic meter is about to explode so it's the only way I won't miss it.
Well, I just sent her an email asking if she would share the answer with us. From her blog, it sounds as though she's been ill recently. Hope it's nothing serious!
