PURSE TMP - Updated PINK, RED, BLUE, AND GREEN PATTERNS
PLEASE READ MY WHOLE POST... IT EXPLAINS A LOT OF QUESTIONS I'VE BEEN ASKED
UPDATE: I have added the template for the Pink purse. It is in PDF Hope you can understand it! Ok, it won't let me add more than 3 attachments. If you need the pink purse in WORD, PM me please!
I'm attaching the template for the red purse and the green one.
Stamp and/or emboss BEFORE you put it all together. These will take between one to one and a half pices of cardstock, depending on how you size it...
I attached the "black beady things" with terrifically tacky tape. I bought them in a strip at Michaels. One "tip". When you cut the ribbon they are attached to, the ends will "fray". Just heat the end with a lighter/candle and it will melt the end just enough to harden it.
As for the mirabou, I used a small punch and punched holes around the side. I "sewed" the mirabou on my hand using a needle and fishing wire, so it can't be seen.
Some handles I made with ribbon. The black and pink handles use chenille sticks that have been wrapped by the knitting thread that is so popular now that has little strands sticking off of it. This can be bought at Walmart, Michaels, etc. Wrap it just loose enough that after a few wraps you can slite it together and "bunch" it up, wrap some more and "bunch" etc. This will make it much fuller like the pink. (Pink was the last handle I did... so I learned a little from the black ones.) The black ones are just wrapped with no "bunching" so they are thinner.
NOTE!!! To make the blue one. cut the corners off of this pattern on the bottom and lenghen your side strips. You will score again and clip the edges where the "bend" is on the boxes. Does that make sense.
The alnighter was DEFINATELY worth it. Murpy's law about your little one tho they only sleep in when you have an appt and have to wake them up to get there LOL Thanks so much for sharing your ideas the purses are so FABULOUS!! Kathryn

I would like template copies as well. You certainly are talented. I don't have the patience to sit down and figure out a template. Kudos to you!!
Thanks,
Tracy
I hope you sleep really well tonight! My kids (6 & 8 ) still have sleep issues, so I really hope& pray sleep comes quickly tonight and that your child sleeps late! Then, as soon as you wake up, find a good video to keep your son occupied & send us the templates!
Your purses are TOO cute & can't wait to see how you did them.
