Default Polished Stone

Does anyone have a comprehensive listing of colors that work together for Polished Stone?

On another topic, is there a way to search the archives without having to scroll through each post individually?

Thanks for your help!!

I've never seen a list specifically for polished stone, but IMO I think your only limit is your imagination and the reinkers you own. Don't be afraid to experiment. After all it's only a piece of paper and probably only a 1/4 sheet. Some of my favorite combos include rose romance, mellow moss and encore silver and ballet blue, forest foliage and the silver.

Happy stamping!

How do you do Polished Stone? I love the look, but I've never seen directions on how to do it. Thanks!

Default Polished Stone

You will need glossy photo paper, alcohol, cotton ball, reinker ink.
2-3 colors. Or you can just use one.

Take your glossy photo paper. I sized mine to 4X4. Wet your cotton ball lightly and pat it on the glossy paper. Then add the reinker's ink. I used 3 tiny drops. And then swirl to make a circular pattern. Or any pattern you select.

Allow to dry and then stamp an image on the dried photo paper. Then select the color card stock you want to use. Size it. And use photo stickers on the back of the glossy photo paper and attach this to your card. Now, add ribbon, fiber, etc.

I hope this helps. VS
