Default making glitter pens

I saw a photo on here recently that gave me an idea. Putting glitter into the barrel of a pen to add some flair to the standard clear barrel pen. Does anyone know of the best way to do this or the best type of pen to use (or even the best type of glitter, super fine? Chunky?)

Any photos, directions, &/or input would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
Wendy

hi there,
I made a glitter pen using sticky double-sided tape on the inner core of the pen that holds the ink. The core was then 'rolled' in superfine glitter and it does look very pretty. One thing to note though, is that in some pens, there isn't a lot of space between the barrel of the pen and the inner core, so you might want to check if there is enough space for tape and glitter first. Mine was a tight fit after I glittered the pen and it was a thin layer.

This sounds like a great idea Wendy! I've got a note pad and pen combo that I want to work on, so I may try this.
I like the idea of adding glitter to the barrel of the pen (it would have to be the finer glitter, most like the chunkier glitters won't fit into the clear tube hole, but hey if they do...use what ever you like!) by sort of making a funnel with a small piece of paper. Then to put the ink on the tube so a different color of glitter would stay there. VERY pretty!! At least in my mind it is!
Thanks for this tip!!
