Hi all! I have been getting a lot of requests for instructions for the luminaries in my gallery... this is a quick post, so what I am going to do is just copy and paste the instructions that I had given when I did these for a shoebox swap. These are the ones I did for the shoebox Swap here, so these are the ones that the step by step instructions refer to:
Tealight Candle Holders- Dream Du Jour by creativetracks at Splitcoaststampers
But these have been the popular ones lately since they are Halloween:
Halloween Luminaries by creativetracks at Splitcoaststampers
And I also made these:
Tealight Candle Holders- Embrace Life by creativetracks at Splitcoaststampers
They are so much fun- and so quick and simple! I make them for the different Holidays so I always have a simple decoration to use. And I also use this as my go-to project for events as well. Have fun- hope the instructions make sense...
1. Chocolate chip Paper is pre-cut at 10 x 3
2. Also prescored at 2 , 5, 7 , and 10
3. Fold In @ all scores as if you were making a box.
4. Stamp Sentiment at bottom of panel 2 and panel 4. Be sure to stamp it AS CLOSE to the bottom as possible.
5. Punch horizontal slot on each corner, by folding and punching through two layers at a time. When you come to the end, be sure that horizontal slot will match up with the other ends horizontal slot, as you can see in the sample piece.
6. Use the tag punch on each panel. From the bottom, Insert paper in as far as it can go, and punch in the center of the panel.
7. Stamp 2 of each of the chosen images on the vellum squares. I have included an extra vellum square in case of errors. Stamp the images in the center of the squares, using Chocolate Chip Ink.
8. Color in the Backside of the images using the markers. (coloring on the back of the vellum prevents the chocolate chip ink from smearing). the color markers provided are Ruby Red, Old Olive, Apricot Appeal, and Almost Amethyst.
9. Use your adhesive around the inside of the tag cut-outs on the chocolate chip paper. Stick the vellum squares, images faced out, to the inside. (refer to sample to see how these are adhered). Use the adhesive remover for any extra adhesive around the vellum.
10. Use sticky strip on the notch to close box.
11. Weave and tie the Kraft ribbon.
12. Help yourself to one of the battery operated tea-light candles!
