Jumbo Paperclips ~ my very first video tutorial...
hi everyone! I created my first video tutorial last night, after I recieved an email from a blog viewer asking how I altered my jumbo paperclips. I figured this would be a great first attempt at making a video!
I don't like talking to the camera so I just threw in a bunch of sub-titles and music. If you are super bored and would be willing to stop by and check it out, it would be great!
Enjoyed your video. I never thought about using zots before. Will have to try this. The only suggestion I would have is to leave the writing on a little longer so we have a better chance to read it. Thanks for sharing.

Just viewed your tutorial. Great job and music. I purchased some of the giant paper clips a while back but haven't done anything with them yet. You have inspired me! I need to make a "Thank you" card for an office buddy. How about a "Thank You" clip? Sounds good to me and she can actually use it!! Phyllis :-)
Your video tutorial is great! I like that I can clearly see what you are doing and wow, international understanding! No translations needed. Very cute project!
Great tutorial! I saw those mega clips at Staples a few months ago. I wish I had seen them before I had bought a bunch of the large size clips...I wouldn't let myself buy them because I need to use up the others first...but it sure looks fun to alter one of that size! Cute; you used the apple stamp and the song by Fiona Apple!
thanks so much for idea - I am new at this blogging thing, so I am impressed you even did a video! I'm new at this site, trying to figure it all out and join an atc swap - i liked your tutorial. I will try that! Sharon
Loved your video and now I know where to get the Jumo paper clips. I made some Large Binder Clip Photo Holders using the pictures on your blog as an example. They turned out great and made awesome "end of year" gifts for my granddaughters' teachers. Thanks for sharing. I look forward to your future videos.
thanks everyone!! I'm so glad you liked my video!! I can't wait to do another one soon. I really enjoy making them. Perhaps I will get inspired this weekend to make one...hmmmm
GREAT tutorial, it all looked good to me. I have never seen anyone use glue dots by picking them up with their finger, I was always taught to put the paper to the dot but that is pretty good I will have to try it your way proably eaiser. Great Job!
Thanks so much! I am currently making a large quantity of these for an Emmaus weekend gift to the people participating. (I am making approx. 120!) So, any and all help is appreciated!

I don't know the names of all my papers, etc., but everything I used is from Stampin Up. For the ones for women I used the scalloped circle punch to make a pink background onto which I put a 1 1/4-inch lime green circle topped with an ivory 1-inch circle stamped with "in everything give Thanks" in pink. For the men I used 1 5/8-inch navy squares topped with 1 1//8-inch light olive green squares (I used the corner punch on both of the squares.) topped with beige 1-inch circles with the same message stamped in dark blue.
Thank you for the tutorial, I had purchased some of these giant clips months ago but hadn't played with them yet... you did a great job showing the how'to!
