Default How to seal rub-ons on coffee cups or canisters??

If anyone has tried to seal rub-ons onto anything glass or ceramic could you let me know what you used and where you purchased your sealant?? I just put some rub-ons on a plain white coffee/soup mug and wanted to know if I could seal it with anything so they won't rub off over time with handling AND if it is sealed, then I might be able to run it through the dishwasher?????
Thanks for any help,
Melastwins

Not sure if you're in the right thread but here's a link to the tutorial I think you're looking for.

Modgepodge works great for sealing the rub-on's. they will not be dishwasher safe, but you can wash them in a gentle soap in the sink. i have done this in the past, on my canisters and love them!
