Red face How to make beads using paper?

I have seen several samples of beads done with SU Designer Paper, but have no idea how to go about and do this myself. I would love to make something for Mother's Day using this technique and need help. Please, someone let me know how you do this

Here are some ideas: Cut a length of paper, the width should be how long you want your bead, the length will determine how fat. Spread glue on the back side of the paper. Roll the paper around a bamboo skewer. Slide the paper off the skewer and let dry. When dry, put back on the skewer, apply a glaze (can be spray shellac or clear nail polish or crystal effects, etc.), then suspend the skewer so the outside can dry. The paper can be cut rectangular for a straight bead or cut in a long triangle and start rolling with the wide end to get a tapered bead.

I just made a card with paper beads. I stamped a piece of paper all over with the same colors as my card I was making. Then I cut strips of paper, very small strips, with one end wide and the other end to a point. I rolled from the wide end to the narrow end, added one drop of glue on the narrow end. After it was dry, I painted it with crystal effects and it made it shiney. You can roll it on a skinny wire or sewing needle. They are fun, quick and you can do so many differnt kinds of beads. The crystal effects really makes them cool.

I've done some beads with air tubing for fish tanks. You roll the paper inside the tubing and cut the "beads" to the length you want. They look really cute and are extremely easy to make! HTH!!

Joelyn do you have pic? would love to see. Yes, they did make them on creative juice. I'm sure if you went to DIY or HGTV and checked you could find something.
