Default How to get this burnt/worn/darker edge effect???

How can you 'easily' get this awesome looking burnt/worn/darker edge like this ornaments in the picture?

What are popular techniques? Thanks!

Use a brown ink pad.
I especially like the ColorBox cat eye "Chalk" (a fast-drying type of pigment ink) for this technique. They come in lots of shades.
