Default Heat embossing question.. I think

I am still new at this stuff... don't laugh

When using the heat tool and stamping with versamark, what powders make the best design? I am experimenting with different ones but really can't seem to find something that gives me the nicest richest look. I always feel like my designs come out icky after using the heat tool. Should i be doing layers of this?

What might I be doing wrong or what should I be doing to help this issue.

Thanks for any assistance in this area.

Linda

I tend to use the ultra-fine detail black powder the most. I bought UTEE for thicker coverage & cracked glass techniques, but haven't used it yet.

I link Ranger Products:

I highly recommend the Ancient Golds for metallics.
