Has anyone made any cards using the CUTTLEBUG cutter?
My dad just got me the cuttlebug die cutter and am not sure if I should exchange it for something else.
Has anyone used this machine to make cards? If so, please let me know what you think of it and how the cards come out... Please post pictures if you have any!
Just saw the thread and thought I would ask a question...so my dh bought me a Cricut at Thanksgiving but I haven't even taken it out of the box yet as I am kind of afraid of it. I think he is disappointed that I haven't gone wild with it yet. My question is am I better off getting a cuttlebug to do die cuts. Up until now I have only used the die cut supplies at Archiver's and don't own any of my own. I have no idea how expensive or difficult these are to use. Everyone says the cricut is great and that I will love it, but I just don't want to make a $180 mistake by opening the box. Are the dies for the cuttlebug expensive? Is it easy to use?

I am confussed now after looking at Khewston's cards. They are beautiful, but they don't look like others that I have seen made with this machine. What part was done with it? I thought it embossed?

The cuttlebug is also a die cut machine. The 'postage stamp' squares and circles on my cards where cut on the cuttlebug.
I love both the cuttlebug and cricut. I have used both with the most success I have had with any machine. I am not a big scrapbooker so I too wondered about the cards. The machines have really helped my card making. I love the cuttlebug embossing sheets. I love to cut them up and use them as backgrounds. I also can't say enough about the cricut. I have had so much fun with it. I have helped teachers at school with bulletin boards with it. I have the tags and bags cartridge. I am terrible at cutting my own templates and measuring. With the cricut I can cut the cutest little bags and tags in seconds. Open the box and enjoy your new toys!!

Me, too...I was so surprised at the lack of traffic and NO lines in any of the stores I ran through! I am excited to play with my new toy...but must order some embossing folders.
