graduation nuggets

I saw the adorable graduation nuggets in the gallery and would love to make some. It said there should be instructions for the tassels in the technique posts, but I have not been able to find them. Can anyone help me? I know they are made from embroidery thread, but that's about the extent of my knowledge. Can someone help me, please? Thanks! Tanna
