I'm wondering if you all can recommend good classes online to help with things like copic coloring, card design… things like that. I'm familiar with online card classes (Jennifer McGuire and Kristina Werner) and also art-classes (Sandy Allnock).
Are there any you have taken that end up being worth the $$?
For marker and/or pencil colouring, Kit and Clowder is worth a look. Alyce has a wonderfully supportive approach and covers art principles rather than just expecting you to copy something exactly so you can transfer what you learn to other images etc. She has a couple of free classes you could look at to see whether her approach would suit you: https://www.kitandclowder.com/markers101
She has a beautiful floral freebie at the moment as well if you sign up to the newsletter (which is low-traffic, no spamming!). Oh, and prices for classes are in Australian dollars, not US, by default - you can change that in the drop down box to see prices in your local currency rather than having to do the conversion elsewhere.
I have heard a lot of good things from multiple people who color very well about Kit and Clowder. I did not know there are freebies! I am going to check that out!
Justine Hovey did a technique class-I don't know if you would be interested in that-40 bucks for MANY MANY techniques but you may know a bunch of them already. Some people felt they were great refreshers. It leaves you with a sample book for future reference. You are not a beginner but if you know any....
Kit and Clowder does require you to be able to download the stuff and print it out. Too bad for me. Maybe one day. But she was really nice about it.
Jennifer McGuire w Kristina has a series of classes and had guest hosts. You can access from McGuire's site. They will have a new stamp camp coming in May.
Sandy Allnock is teaching-tons of good basics for pencil, copics, WC....then she has advanced classes too. Plus Bibile Journaling. Some specifically for skin tones which I know is a challenge for people. She gives discounts semi-regularly if you are watching her blog. Even her daily blogs can have great mini free lessons.
Justine Hovey has a new Progressive Cardmaking Class 2 at Altenew Academy. It started yesterday for the interactive portion. It will be available for watching anytime. I am taking it, but do not have time for completing the homework each day. Here is the link: https://altenew.com/collections/altenew-academy-classes
I've taken some low price classes and found them sort of "rerun" of what's available online for free! SO many stampers are so generous with their talents and produce excellent videos on YT....
Never heard of this site or any of the teachers either. Since payment is in Euros, clearly they are not in the US!
Stamperia has wonderful paper collections & other supplies.
If you click on a class, the US $ cost is an option. I follow Vicky Papaiannou (on her blog & YouTube). Here's her new class: https://stamperia-e-academy.teachabl...nou-artjournal
