I picked up a gold leaf pen at the store today, but I could sure use a few ideas on what to do with it. I did a search and nothing really came up. Help please!!

I bought one at a scrapbook fair just a few weeks ago. At the demo table, we used it to edge the card. Just angle the tip a bit, and run it along the edge of the card stock. It looks really elegant!

Smile Krylon Paint pen

I saw on HGTV that they use a hot glue gun and write or make a design. And then use your paint stick on top of the glue.

Default gold pen around dominoe

we used a gold pen to colour the edge of a dominoe. Nice effect.

I have used the gold and copper leafing pens to make the silver tags either gold or copper - you know, the round shipping tags from the catty. I know they come in brass and copper, but when I only need one and cant wait, this works very well for me.

I also use them to edge cards, microscope slides, make copper brads or eyelets (or silver or gold ones) Works really well - did a card with snowflake eyelets, but wanted them copper, not the silver they came in, so used my copper leafing pen to make them copper. Worked great.

The leafing pens will stay on anything, glass, metal, plastic and of course, paper. Use them whereever you want. Edge your coasters with them. That looks really cool!

Have fun!

I use my Krylon Gold Leaf pen ( and the copper one too) for polished stone, rather than a gold re-inker. So easy!

Wink Gold Leaf Pen

I believe Beatie posted some beautiful tiles with gold edging. I tried it on 2" and 4" tiles as well as card edges. I've also used it to accent small parts of my paper purses or mugs. My gallery link is here to see some samples.

Another tip...the Krylon pens have double-sided nibs. So if you're like me and you wear the nib or shred it, you can pull the nib out of the marker with a tweezers and turn the nib around and reinsert it back into the marker and you have a brand new nib.
