Hi Linda
You can make wonderful backgrounds with some alcohol inks on glossy paper
The more you play around with them the better it becomes

Hi Linda,

You can do the ghosting technique with the glossy paper. Take a stamp and use your Versamark to stamp on the glossy paper. Then take your Brayer and roll a colored ink over it and it will not ink where ther Versamak touched. This makes a great background. I have creasted some pretty cards doing this technique Good Luck

I like the Polished Stone technique. Check it out in Resources.

The resources section has a few techniques that use glossy paper. My favorite is also Polished Stone.

There is a technique where you hold a lighter or candle just under the paper and let the glossy paper pick the soot up. With the soot, you stamp into it or even just let it stay as is if you like it. Then you spray a sealant on it. I've done it a few times and I love the look...you just have to be careful not to purn the paper or your house down!

I like to take the glossy paper and stamp on little images and then cover it with diamond glaze to make it pop off the paper.

I would cut some of your sheets to create a little book. Take those individual sheets and print out photos, backgrounds, etc., and then bind all those printed pages with a Zutter bind it and then create a chipboard cover. They look great once they are all finished. It's nice to give as a gift.
